At just 13 years old, Rebecca experienced a devastating group sexual assault that left her carrying years of anger, shame, and disconnection from her physical body. Her journey toward healing eventually led her through therapy, bodywork, and energy healing, and into a profound spiritual awakening at age 23.

Through this awakening, Rebecca experienced a deep sense of wholeness, connection, and unconditional divine love that transformed her understanding of herself and her life.

Together, Julie and Rebecca explore the relationship between trauma and spirituality, the importance of reconnecting with the body, and why authentic healing requires us to acknowledge our pain rather than spiritually bypass it.

In this episode, we explore:

  • Rebecca’s journey from childhood sexual trauma to healing and spiritual awakening
  • How trauma can create disconnection from our bodies and sense of self
  • The role of therapy, bodywork, and energy healing in recovery
  • Rebecca’s profound experience of divine love and wholeness
  • Why speaking our truth can help release shame
  • Understanding spiritual bypassing and the importance of honoring difficult emotions
  • The difference between our human experiences and the eternal nature of the soul
  • How survivors can reclaim their voices, personal power, and connection to themselves
  • Finding support, compassion, and community along the healing journey

The central message of this conversation is one of hope: What happened to you does not define the essence of who you are. Your experiences deserve acknowledgment and healing, and your soul remains whole.

Rebecca now uses her experiences to support other survivors through healing groups, creating spaces where people can share their stories, feel seen, and continue their journeys toward wholeness.

If you are navigating trauma, supporting someone who is, or exploring the connection between emotional healing and spiritual awakening, this conversation offers a compassionate perspective on the possibility of healing and transformation.
